Different currencies in the game can be used for a variety of things, such as purchasing skins, upgrading skills, and giving the player an advantage in hunting competitions.

Coins[]

Most common currency, and the easiest to obtain. They can be used for a numerous amount of things, including purchasing skins, upgrading attributes, purchasing items from the shrine, and upgrading or reinforcing armour. Players can get them in fairly large amounts through hunting, killing other players, receiving pack bounty and hunting competition rewards, selling items at the shrine, and opening chests.

They are also the only currency in the game which can be purchased in bulk with other in-game currency, being gems. However, it is strongly recommended to not do this, since coins themselves can already be obtained with relative ease, and gems are much more valuable.

Gems[]

The currency coins wish they could be. Gems are mainly used to purchase and upgrade skills, however they can also be used to purchase certain skins, as well as rarer items in the shrine. Similarly, they can also be used to purchase Premium Silver for two weeks. Players can get gems through defeating champions in co-op, chests, pack bounty rewards, hunting competition rewards, and levelling up.

Because they are typically received in much smaller quantities, but require large amounts to actually use, they are fairly rarer and much more desired than coins. However, with the introduction of chests on 6 June, 2023, gems have been much easier to obtain, though still remain more of a premium currency.

Moonstones[]

Moonstones are one of, if not the most difficult to get currencies, especially for early-game players. They can only be obtained through scoring a top 3 place in hunting competitions and pack bounty, as well as occasionally as rewards in certain chests. Although they serve no purpose for player stats, they are used to purchase the highly desired limited skins, which circulate through the shop. Similarly, they can also be used to purchase chests with valuable items, though this option is not as popular.

Many players will not see a significant increase in their moonstone collection until they level up to around level 30, since hunting competitions are highly competitive (go figure), and hunting tokens aren’t as widely available as they are later in the game.

Tickets[]

Tickets are used to enter into certain hunting competitions, such as Rush, Clash and Challenge.

Standard Tickets[]

Standard tickets, which are silver, are the most common type of tickets, and are free to get. Each player can only have a maximum of 10 at a time, however. They can only be used to enter certain hunting competitions, and can be obtained through chests. These are not as highly desired as other currencies, and players can fairly easily obtain a lot if they regularly complete quests.

Gold Tickets[]

Gold tickets are, as the name suggests, gold. They are the premium version of tickets, and can only be obtained by purchasing them with real money. They are no different from standard tickets, except for the fact that you can have an unlimited number of them. The majority of players don’t bother buying them, as they are only useful if you don’t have any standard tickets left.

Hunting Tokens[]

Hunting tokens allow the player to boost certain animals in hunting competitions. They can be easily be obtained through chests, and are pretty easy for players to get them in bulk if they don’t boost often. They don’t serve any other purpose besides boosting, so they aren’t in that high demand by most players.
